Bakamatsu Rock is a wild idea from Senran Kagura developer Marvelous AQL. It’s a rhythm game set in feudal Japan where you play as Sakamoto Ryoma – rock star Sakamoto Ryoma. The Shinsengumi are brainwashing people using the Heaven’s Song. You can break their control by tapping notes on beat just like Hatsune Miku: Project Diva.

The game has a story which unfolds like a comic. Bakumatsu Rock is slated for release on February 27, 2014 for PSP.
