The former Apple Arcade exclusive Game Freak game Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On is now available on the Nintendo Switch. Both the full game and the demo are live on the eShop.
Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On showed up at the 17:27 mark of the February 2024 Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase. New gameplay footage appeared showing how the title looks on the system. As a reminder, while this is a horse racing sim, it doesn’t proceed as someone expects. Rather than racing traditionally, people play through hands of Solitaire during a race. How well you do in each hand helps determine the horse’s performance. As you continue to do well, you can unlock new races and breed horses.

This is the sequel to a Nintendo 3DS exclusive Game Freak game. Pocket Card Jockey was an eShop exclusive on the system. The general gameplay loop was pretty identical.
Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On and its demo are now available on the Nintendo Switch, with the game costing $15 if you decide to go with the full title. The game is also available on Apple iOS devices via Apple Arcade. A subscription for that costs $6.99 per month.
