Game Freak Looking to Hire New Staff Members

Pokemon developer Game Freak is holding a new recruitment campaign in order to hire new staff members. The company, alongside IMAGICA GEEQ, held a mid-career recruitment online information meeting on August 30, 2024. [Thanks, DenFamiNico Gamer!]

There are seven major types of open positions that the company is looking to fill with new staff members. These fields include planner, designer, project manager, programmer, research and development, technical artist, and back office.

Applicants for the aforementioned positions must have at least three years of relevant work experience in the game industry or at least three years of related work experience. However, it seems like some of the open positions don’t require experience in the game industry, as reported by website DenFamiNico Gamer.

Aside from their work as the developers of the massively popular Pokemon franchise, Game Freak are also known for developing a variety of other titles. The latest Game Freak game is Pand Land, a cooperative exploration game available for mobile devices that released in Japan on June 24, 2024.
