Inti Creates announced that they’re bringing the 8-bit 3DS action game, Mighty Gunvolt, to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as Gal Gunvolt. 4Gamer shares a first look at some screenshots of the upcoming port.
Gal Gunvolt is a direct port of Mighty Gunvol, the Nintendo 3DS eShop downloadable title that released last year alongside Azure Striker Gunvolt. The port is based on the Might Gunvolt Ver 2.0.0 of the game, and will be for PS4 and Vita.
Players will get to take on the roles of Gunvolt from Azure Striker Gunvolt, Mighty No. 9 hero Beck, and Gal Gun’s angel Ekoro. All three characters have their own characteristics and abilities used to take on the side-scroller action.
The above is a look at the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
Followed by a look at some screenshots of the PlayStation Vita version… although it is a little difficult to spot the difference.
Gal Gunvolt will include the four extra stages of Factory, Bio Lab, Highway, and Gym that were originally added to Mighty Gunvolt as $2.99 DLC.
Gal Gunvolt is slated for release in Japan on August 6, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita for 500 yen, tax-included.
