Dragon Ball Xenoverse starts off in the future where Future Trunks recruits you to fix fractured history in the Dragon Ball universe. Players will see enemies from Great Ape Vegeta all the way to Beerus from Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods. The true villains in the story are Towa and Mira, time travelers that changed the way fights turned out.

One change had Raditz evade Gohan’s attack and escape a fatal blow from the Special Beam Cannon, which still hits Goku. Towa and Mira also interfere in the Cell games by strengthening Cell. Much later on, they change the fight with Kid Buu and weaken Goku so he can’t hit him with a Super Spirit Bomb. In addition to the changed Dragon Ball timeline, there are parallel what if events to see like Goku fighting alongside Raditz.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse comes out on February 5 in Japan, February 13 in Europe, and February 17 in North America. Dimps is developing the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and a PC version will also be released on Steam.
