Right on schedule, Atlus’ next Shin Megami Tensei V demon digest video appeared. The July 2, 2021 entry focuses on a character that’s appeared in SMT spin-offs before, like Persona, but never showed up in a mainline game. The next confirmed SMT V demon is Futsunushi, a character known for its physical damage.
The normal pattern is maintained for this trailer. We see the Nahobino summon a Futsunushi. We watch the demon in the wild. However, this video is one of those instances where another demon isn’t unintentionally confirmed in it. During the fight portion of it, Futsunushi faces a character we’ve already seen before, Fafnir. Once that attack is over, the silhouette for the next demon in the series shows up.
