Furina in Genshin Impact Can Shine in Most Teams

Furina in Genshin Impact is a very flexible character due to her ability to change between Ousia and Pneuma forms, and as such, you should decide your teams for her based on what you want her to do. As a whole, Furina works best as an off-field sub-DPS who can also buff the team.

To understand how to build a team with Furina, you need to first know how she works. Furina can swap her Alignments using her charged attack, switching between a healer and a damage dealer. In her Ousia form, she can summon water constructs that’ll attack the enemy with Hydro damage.

In her Pneuma form, she can act as a healer. Her Burst will increase Furina’s Fanfare points based on changes in your party’s Max HP. Depending on how much Fanfare she has, she can increase how much damage your party deals, as well as how much they heal themselves for. 

What are the best teams for Furina in Genshin Impact?

• Neuvillette | Furina | Kazuha | Kokomi
  A Mono-Hydro team works pretty well with Furina, and she can also take advantage of Water Resonance’s boost to Max HP. Neuvillette also works great with Furina due to his HP naturally fluctuating with his kit (though this applies to most Fontaine characters).
• Lyney | Furina | Xiangling | Bennett
  A Lyney-focused team in which Furina acts as a buffer and Hydro applicator works really well as well. Like the above Neuvillette, Lyney naturally has HP fluctuations in his kit, so he can help to build Furina’s Fanfare when she uses her Burst. Furina’s Ousia skill has so-so Hydro application, but it’s consistent so she can work fairly well with Xiangling.
• Hu Tao | Furina | Kazuha | Xingqiu
  This is a team you have to be a bit careful with because Xingqiu is not the best shielder and healer out there. Hu Tao’s naturally fluctuating HP as a result of her kit makes her a good main DPS to run with Furina, and you can also get good Vaporize damage from this combination. If you’re uncomfortable with Xingqiu as your main healer and shielder, and you don’t want to use Furina’s Pneuma, you can also swap out Kazuha (whose main purpose is to Swirl Hydro) for a more dedicated shielder or healer.
• Ganyu | Shenhe | Kazuha | Furina
  This is yet another Mono-Element team with Furina acting as the sole Hydro applicator. Like in the above Xingqiu example, you can consider swapping out Shenhe for a more dedicated shielder or healer if you’re uncomfortable using Pneuma Furina.
• Furina | Nahida | Fischl | Jean
  This mishmash of a team takes advantage of Jean’s passive Talent to increase HP for the whole party when she attacks. It helps to build Fanfare very quickly. Furina, Nahida, and Fischl meanwhile serve to set up Hyperbloom Reactions. This team is one where Jean technically serves as the main-DPS, since everyone else will only be on the field for a bit to set up their respective Skill or Burst.

As you can see, Furina works very well with a wide variety of characters due to how universal of a buff her Burst can provide. There are many other teams that you can consider with Furina. Like Kazuha or Zhongli, she’s one of those characters that can potentially fit into practically any team comp.
