Funimation added two more Demon Slayer omnibus episodes on its streaming service on October 7, 2021. Demon Slayer: Asakusa Arc and Demon Slayer: Tsuzumi Mansion Arc are now available. With the additions of these two compilation specials, Funimation has five Demon Slayer omnibus episodes in their catalog.
The other omnibus episodes on Funimation recap the Sibling’s Bond Arc, the Mt. Natagumo Arc, and The Hashira Meeting Arc. They give a summarized version of multiple episodes’ worth of content, as well as include new edits and scenes. For example, there are new Taisho Secret segments at the ends of each episode.
Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc will start airing on October 10, 2021. Funimation and Crunchyroll revealed in September that they will have the show on their services. The Mugen Train Arc season will cover events from the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie. However, the TV series will have additional scenes, including an original episode. Right after Mugen Train Arc, Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc will start airing from December 5, 2021.
The Demon Slayer: Asakusa Arc and Demon Slayer: Tsuzumi Mansion Arc omnibus episodes are available from Funimation. In total, there are five compilation episodes that you can watch on the streaming service.
