Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Movie Character Stills Shared

The official Fullmetal Alchemist The Final Chapter Twitter account shared new stills from the upcoming live-action movie. The images give fans a better look at how characters such as Hohenheim and Olivier Mira Armstrong will appear in the film. The two-part live-action movie series will release in Japanese theaters on May 20 and June 24, 2022. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The last live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film released in 2017. The upcoming movies will pick up where the previous live-action movie left off and the core cast reprising their roles. The new stills feature four new characters set to appear, including Van Hohenheim (Seiyo Uchino), King Bradley (Hiroshi Tachi), Ling Yao (Keisuke Watanabe), and Olivier Mira Armstrong (Chiaki Kuriyama). All four characters also appeared in a teaser trailer released earlier this month.

Additionally, the teaser website also shared a new still of Edward as well as images of the ongoing Fullmetal Alchemist exhibition. Notably, the exhibition is showcasing the costumes used in the filming of the live-action movie. The exhibition is being held at Hirakata Park in Osaka, Japan.

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Last Chapter – Scar the Avenger live-action movie will premiere in Japanese theaters on May 20, 2022. The second new entry, The Last Transmutation, will debut on June 24, 2022. There is no confirmation on an English or Western release.
