The upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – The Promised Day board game is now available to pre-order from the North American Square Enix Store. The tabletop game was announced in October 2021 and will release in North America sometime in April 2022. It retails for $54.99. The release is part of the series’ 20th-anniversary celebration.
The board game will support up to four players ages 13 and up and will take up to 45 minutes to complete. Players will act as popular characters from the series and will work cooperatively to defeat the mannequin soldiers and homunculi to complete the Reverse Transmutation Circle. It is possible to play the game solo, and the game will offer Novice, Hard, and Ultimate difficulty modes.
Square Enix is currently working on a Fullmetal Alchemist mobile game with more information due to be announced before the end of the year. In July, original manga creator Hiromu Arakawa announced a new manga series was in the works. The series, titled Yomi no Tsukai, is slated to debut in Monthly Shonen Gangan on December 10, 2021. It will follow a boy, Yuru, whose quiet life changes when his sister is called to work at a jail inside a mysterious local village, causing her to be locked within.
The Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – The Promised Day board game will be released in the west in April 2022. The game is scheduled to release in Japan on March 26, 2022.
