It looks like the open beta is about to end and the full version Phantasy Star Online 2 release date is upon us. An in-game message suggested “official service will begin after the April 14, 2020 maintenance,” which has already ended. When this was brought to the attention of the official Twitter account, it asked people to keep an eye out for news on April 16, 2020. Update: The game is now officially live!
Here was the screenshot of the in-game notice saying official service is about to begin and the official Twitter account suggesting the full Phantasy Star Online 2 release date could be upon us this week. In addition, the official account teased the full release would happen very soon when someone asked if it would be done by the time Spring 2020 ends.
Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for further updates related to that in-game notice. Thank you for reaching out and have a great night, Arks!

Already one thing mentioned in that official in-game notice came to pass before the official announcement appeared. The April 15-22, 2020 login campaign has begun. Every day, people will get one Half Scape Doll that will automatically revive themselves if they fall in battle. (Just head to the Visiphone to claim it after you earn it.)
Phantasy Star Online 2 is currently available via an Xbox One open beta in North America, though a release on other platforms has been teased. The official service has begun.
