Back in 2003, FromSoftware quietly released an experimental real-time simulation game on the Xbox in Japan, and the game never came Westward. That particular title has gotten a fan translation courtesy of a fan translation effort led by MrRichard999.
The game involves two-player matches where each side must build up defenses, which then switches to a combat phase where a flag from the enemy base must be captured. The lands then carry over between matches, meaning that each side will be more developed each time.
The fan translation translates menus, graphics, the name entry screen, as well as all the dialogue, letting English players experience it in full. You can find a link to the translation patch here.
Thousand Land was released on the Xbox.
