At the first-anniversary special screening of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End on September 28, 2024, season 2 of the anime was officially teased with a new visual. The teaser showcases Frieren, Fern, and Stark.

The story will pick up from episode 61 of the manga, which appeared in volume 7. Madhouse, the studio behind the first season, will return to produce the second season. Crunchyroll, which streams the first season, hasn’t confirmed if it will offer the second.
