Suda51’s Groundhog Day meets mystery adventure game, Flower, Sun, and Rain will land in North America on June 16. The game stars Sumio Mondo who is stuck in a time loop as he tries to diffuse a bomb and assist the residents of Lospass Island.
In the game you are assisted by Catherine, a briefcase computer that cracks codes. The Nintendo DS version of Flower, Sun, and Rain adapted the game’s puzzles to utilize the touch screen, but don’t be mistake this for a mini-game collection. Flower, Sun, and Rain is more like a classic adventure game with a heavy and bizarre story.
An English version of Flower, Sun, and Rain is currently available in Europe. Xseed said the North American version will have a different translation than the Rising Star’s release. At the very least I expect Xseed to change the spelling of words like “fervour” to “fervor” and so forth.
