Scott Cawthorn has released a trailer for his horror game sequel Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. The game is also up on Steam Greenlight.
This sequel takes the exact same idea as the first game but adds some new animatronic enemies, a slightly different setting, and there’s a new Freddy Fazbear head that you can wear to trick the animatronic animals into thinking you’re Freddy.
So, yes, otherwise you’re once again sitting in as the new night shift security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. You’re stuck in your office and need to monitor the restaurant’s animatronic characters through the security cameras. They come to life at night and try to kill people, you see.
The idea is to survive five nights in your new job, picking up your measly pay check at the end of it – it’s not really worth risking your life for, but hey, you’re desperate.
One of the major differences with this sequel is that there are no doors that you can close to stop the animals coming in. It seems that the Freddy mask is your only way of evading death this time around.
No release date for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has been issued yet.
