The announcement didn’t include any details about the potential crossover characters from Five Nights at Freddy’s heading to Dead by Daylight. However, these sorts of events often involve a number of elements from the source material. For example, when the Silent Hill Chapter appeared, it added the Midwich Elementary School map, The Executioner Killer based on Pyramid Head, and the Cheryl Mason survivor based on the Silent Hill 3 heroine.

2025 will be a big year for Five Nights at Freddy’s. Blumhouse confirmed that the second movie based on the series will also appear that year. It announced that sequel will arrive in Fall 2025 on social media.

As for Dead by Daylight itself, we already have a roadmap for some elements of the game for 2024. Behaviour confirmed it will make QOL changes at Midwich Elementary School and adjust The Doctor, The Dredge, and The Nemesis Killers in August 2024. In September and October 2024, people will see The Hillbilly, The Skull Merchant, The Twins, and The Unknown adjustments.

Dead by Daylight is out now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PC, and mobile devices, and Five Nights at Freddy’s will be added to the game in Summer 2025.
