Scott Cawthon, creator of the horror game series Five Nights At Freddy’s, has posted a teaser image on his website that reveals Five Nights At Freddy’s 4: The Final Chapter is on its way.
The image also has a date: October 31st 2015, which is, yes, Halloween. Presumably, that’s when can we expect this fourth entry into the series to land.
The image also shows Freddy in a very grim state, torn apart at the stitching, his mechanical parts exposed in places, and with smaller Freddy Heads with pin-like steel teeth in a menacing pose around his body. He also holds his dilapidated top hat in his right hand with a creepy half-grin.
It’s worth noting that, if this fourth game doesn’t come out until Halloween, then it’ll have the longest development time for all of the games in the series. The previous three Five Nights At Freddy’s games were released between August 2014 and March 2015, so only an eight month period. This fourth episode will take as long as that by itself. So does that mean it will be bigger or different in some other way? Possibly. Maybe it has something to do with the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s film.
