After its initial announcement last year, we haven’t heard much about Imageepoch’s new strategy title, Stella Glow, until they recently announced that it’s still in the works and will be published by Sega. The latest trailer gives us a first look at the game.

The teaser trailer shows how Hilda and her song of destruction threatens to crystallize the world. The protagonist Alto will travel alongside his childhood friend, Risette the Water Witch, among others like Popo the Wind Witch.

At 1:08 in the video, we get a look at the game’s strategy RPG system, where the characters are depicted in super-deformed chibi-style on the battlefield. More details on the gameplay are expected to be revealed, soon.

In the meantime, here’s a look at the characters that serve under the White Knights, the ninth division squad of the Regnant King’s knights:

Going against the White Knights, are the members of the Black Apostle, a group led by Hilda the Witch:

While we still don’t knot too much about the story besides Hilda wanting to destroy the world with her cursed song, judging by the trailer, it seems like there’s a big theme of sword vs. magic behind Stella Glow.

Stella Glow is slated for release in Japan on June 4, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
