First Look At Initial D: Perfect Shift Online

Sega is working on an Initial D game for Nintendo 3DS, but the big surprise is Initial D: Perfect Shift Online is a free to play game. The game has racing, but Famitsu explains it has simple controls. So simple you’re not actually driving the car. The car drives by itself and you shift up or down. If you time your shifts right you can get an edge in the race.

Players will be able to "race" against other characters from the Initial D series. The main menu says there are quests and premium races too. The game will be a free download, but it isn’t clear on how Sega plans on monetizing it.
