Square Enix is planning to release another demo to showcase Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, but this time players will get to sample the game too. The Crystal Maiden Chapter, as explained in an early Jump leak, has a playable demo plus augmented reality features. Last year, 3DS owners got to try an interactive AR movie where a girl fell through your floor.
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy’s demo will introduce players to Agnes Oblige, a 17 year old girl who is entrusted with the wind crystal. She leaves her home guided by crystal spirits after a disaster created a giant hole in the world and darkness is pouring out of it affecting the world.
Asano, the game’s producer, gave us an early look at the demo and took a photo of Agnes in his hand. He didn’t say when the demo will come out, but to check Jump and Famitsu for more details. Sounds like it’s pretty soon… and Square Enix probably has more than one of these since the demo is described as "AR vol.1."
