This collaboration will feature two titles: The 1979 Universal Century anime show Mobile Suit Gundam and the 2024 Cosmic Era movie Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. While the SEED Freedom collection will only consist of T-shirts, the First Gundam lineup will include other items like hoodies, hats, socks, bags, and tumblers. One of the T-shirt designs in this lineup will also feature the well-known “Bright Slap” scene.

Here are the sample images for the Gundam T-shirt designs in this collection:

The apparel collection will be formally available for sale on August 20, 2024. Graniph and Strict-G have also opened online pre-orders for the items, which will close before the above date.

The press release contains a fine print mentioning that Graniph may also sell the apparel outside Japan. However, the online pre-orders are only available inside the country. Even though Graniph’s web store has a WorldShopping widget, it still restricts the Gundam apparel pre-orders to domestic shipments only.

The Mobile Suit Gundam and Gundam SEED Freedom collaboration apparel will appear in Japan on August 20, 2024.
