Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Shez and Arval Art Shown

In the April 12, 2022 Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes trailer, new character Shez was the star. However, at the end a mysterious, albino figure also appeared. Now, there is art for both characters and a name for the second. In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Arval (Larva in Japanese) will fill a Sothis sort of role for the new hero.

First, here’s the Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes art of Arval from the official account. Mutsumi Tamura voices the character in Japanese. You might recognize Tamura as Ermes Costello in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Yuria the Witch in Demon’s Souls, and Miss Kobayashi in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. She serves a Sothis-like role for Shez.

Next, here is the official art for Shez in Fire Emblem Heroes: Three Hopes. Both the male and female versions of the protagonist are depicted. The male hero is voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka in Japan. He also played Gorou in Genshin Impact, Denki “Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt” Kaminari in My Hero Academia, and Yozora in Kingdom Hearts 3. The female one is played by Miyu Tomita. She also plays Riko in Made in Abyss and Yume Nijino in Aikatsu Stars.

Some of these new elements could be seen in the latest Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes trailer. The video began with the encounter between Shez and Byleth. This is when the “Ashen Demon” was about to kill Shez, except Arval intervened. Arval didn’t actually appear until the very end of the teaser though. In it, Arval told Shez, “I’m the closest ally you have. Remember, we’re partners in destiny.”

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will come to the Nintendo Switch on June 24, 2022. The Japanese site is open.
