Darros, one of the earliest recruits you get in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, is joining the game for the first time via this banner. He has been confirmed to be a Tempest Trials+ gift unit.

The Special Heroes Summoning banner is set to begin on August 7, 2020. Meanwhile, the Tempest Trials+ will begin on August 8, 2020.

New Features and Updates

A new feature coming soon for taller smartphones is the ability to see more of your current resources via the extra space at the top of the screen when at the main menu. During battles, you’ll instead see the turn count and phase at the bottom of the screen.

New Arena maps are also being added to the rotation pool, allowing players to try out new strategies for taking down the opposing team.

Changes are being made to the summoning pool for New Heroes banners and Special Heroes banners beginning today. Many of the 5-star characters from Year 2 of the game will no longer appear as off-focus summons on these banners. However, they will still appear in other summoning events. Instead, beginning this week, these characters will also have their own Weekly Revival banners interspersed with the Year 1 Heroes Revivals that began last year.
