Nintendo introduced Yunaka, a new character and party member, along with the “Thief” class for Fire Emblem Engage. This is the latest entry in the long-standing SRPG series, ahead of its January 23, 2023 release date. She will be another ally for the group.

Yunaka is a mysterious girl that the party meets during their travels. Alear and Alfred stumble upon her while she searches for a lost item. She is a cheerful and energetic person who can easily get along with anyone, even with people she has just met, all thanks to her easygoing and friendly demeanor.

Yunaka starts with the Thief class. Thieves are experts at lock picking and can use their swift movements to toy with their enemies at will. Their proficiency with daggers allows them to poison foes.
Yunaka is voiced by Ai Fairouz in the Japanese dub of Fire Emblem Engage. She previously voiced Jolyne Cujoh in the anime adaptation of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Sei Shōnagon in Fate/Grand Order, and Power in Chainsaw Man. It is currently unknown who will voice Yunaka in the English dub of Fire Emblem Engage.
Yunaka is reminiscent of previous incarnations of the iconic merchant Anna, who will return in Fire Emblem Engage. But, unlike Anna, Yunaka shows a serious and dangerous side during combat.
Fire Emblem Engage will come out worldwide on January 20, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch.
