Square Enix announced a new line of Final Fantasy XVI metal plate canvas art depicting characters from the game. There are eight available. Each one costs 3,300 yen (or about $22), and their expected release date is October 7, 2023. Pre-orders are now available from the Square Enix online e-store.
Each of the metal plates comes with an easel to easily display them. The plates are about 20 cm (or 7.8 inches) wide, and 30 cm (or 11.8 inches) tall. Meanwhile the easels are 21.5 cm (or 8.4 inches) wide, 40 cm (or 15.7 inches) tall, and 19 cm (or 7.4 inches) deep.
The plates depict the eight Dominants of the world Valisthea, accompanied by their respective Eikons. The characters featured are Clive and Ifrit, Joshua and Phoenix, Jill and Shiva, Cid and Ramuh, Benedikta and Garuda, Hugo and Titan, Dion and Bahamut, and Barnabas and Odin.
