Final Fantasy XVI Character Ages Revealed in FFXVI Ultimania

Square Enix revealed the Final Fantasy XVI character ages in the FFXVI Ultimania book that just debuted in Japan. Aitai Kuji owner Audrey Lamsam purchased the book and revealed some of the details. While we knew about how old Clive and Jill were, the guidebook revealed other characters’ ages as well. [Thanks, Audrey Lamsam!]

Editor’s Note: There will be spoilers for Final Fantasy XVI characters and their ages below.

The characters range in age from 28 to 70 after the time skip. Lamsam didn’t note if the FFXIV Ultimania age for Hugo was his pre-timeskip or post-timeskip one.

Here’s the full list:

• Barnabas Tharmr: 65 pre-time skip, 70 post-time skip
• Benedikta Harman: 28
• Cid Telamon: 44
• Dion Lesage: 10 initially, 23 after the first time skip, and 28 after the second one.
• Joshua Rosfield: 10 initially, 23 after the first time skip, and 28 after the second one.
• Hugo Kupka: 38. (If this is the pre-time skip age, then he is 43 after the time skip.)
• Sleipnir Harbard: 47 pre-time skip, 52 post-time skip
• Terence: 10 initially, 23 after the first time skip, and 28 after the second one.

For reference, Clive was 15 initially. Then, after the first time skip he is 28. He’s 33 after the second one. Jill is allegedly about 12 when we first meet her. Then she’s 25 after the first leap forward and 30 after the second.
