Final Fantasy XV Director Tabata Says They Have Plans To “Explore Ardyn’s Past”

Final Fantasy XV is sharing more about its bros Prompto, Gladio, and Ignis in the form of DLC episodes, but director Hajime Tabata teased that there are plans to explore the past of Ardyn Izunia during an interview with Game Legends. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

When asked if there are any plans to explore Ardyn’s past, director Tabata responded with “Yes, we do have some plans on that. Please look forward to it.”

The interview also has some interesting talk about transitioning from Versus XIII to Final Fantasy XV, some multiplayer talk, and if we’ll see any kind of new gameplay in future DLC.

Final Fantasy XV is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
