In addition to the launch of Final Fantasy XIV’s 3.35 Patch that brings the roguelike-style Deep Dungeon feature, Square Enix announced that the MMORPG has surpassed six million cumulative players globally—excluding free trial—in under three years.

Alongside the new milestone that Final Fantasy XIV achieved, Square Enix announced a free login campaign period that begins on July 25 (starting 12:00am PDT) to August 30 (11:59pm PDT) that will allow players to check out the game for five full days. Keep in mind that the free login campaign will only be available to registered players that have not been active for 30 or more days before the campaign period. Those with active subs won’t be eligible, either.

As for the Patch 3.35, the main attraction is the Deep Dungeon feature, which you can read more about in our earlier report.

The patch also adds new /doze emotes and more that you can check out in the full Patch 3.35 notes here.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
