Ahead of the start of the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023, the official Pusheen Twitter account teased another FFXIV crossover. No details appeared, beyond a single image of Pusheen on a Chocobo. However, the announcement did say to watch the keynote.

This sort of Pusheen Final Fantasy XIV crossover happened before. First, there were some official comics showing the character dressed as familiar mascots from the series and in job costumes. So instead of a Moogle, there was a Pusheen Mewgle.

In 2020, it happened again. That time, a line of Apple iMessage stickers appeared. That involved 20 different designs based on the game and character. That is still available to buy for $0.99 on the Apple Store. A trailer also accompanied its release, so people could see the designs even if they didn’t buy the pack or own a device to use them.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. The 2023 Fan Festival will be held in Las Vegas between July 28-29, 2023.
