Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.57

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.57 Allows Players To Move To Uncongested Worlds In Character Select Screen

The Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.57 update will allow players to move to uncongested worlds through the character select screen. This is one of the more substantial updates that will arrive alongside this small patch. Several bugs fixes came with this patch as well. Additionally, weekly restrictions on Allagan Tomestones of Revelation have been changed. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.57 will allow for players to select the option to load into uncongested worlds through this new patch. However, this does come with a stipulation. Players will not be able to choose which world they will teleport into it. Instead, the world will be selected from within the same data center. Additionally, this option may not be available depending on where the player has logged out.

Another small quality of life change that arrives through the patch is the option to see when a quest has been completed. However, the date reflected may not be accurate. This is due to the data for this new feature being collected after the release of Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.55. Additionally, a bug that prevented the effects for the new “Flower Power” emote from properly showing when used by female Elezen and Roegadyn was fixed.

Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
