Like previous Make it Rain events in Final Fantasy XIV, this emote will only be available to obtain during the event period. There is currently no indication that it will be available once the period is over. This new emote, dubbed “Confusion,” features a unique bubble that will appear beside the player’s head. This scribble also includes a unique expression for your character.

In order to participate in the event, players must be level 15 and have completed the main quest for their respective starting city. If you do not have access to the airships in Lima Lominsa, Ul’dah, or Gridania, you cannot participate. The event details are available to view through the official website.

Final Fantasy XIV also has a special returner campaign currently underway. Players who have not had an active sub for 30 days or more will be able to log into the game entirely for free for 14 days.

Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
