Square Enix unveiled a new set of Final Fantasy XIV costumes, with the “Eorzea School Uniform” during the latest Korean Live Letter. [Thanks, @55_Waltz!]
The above is a look at the designs for the Eorzea School Uniform costume. The male version comes with a necktie for the top and pants for the bottom. The female version comes with a ribbon instead of a tie for the top and a skirt.
Players will get to mix and match both outfits regardless of gender. Based on the info shared during the live stream, it’s safe to assume that it means the two sets are separate items and can be worn without changes in gender-based appearances. However, we’ll get a better idea when Square Enix launches a special website for it tomorrow.
The design of the school uniform costume is based on what we saw in the manga. The Eorzea School Uniform will debut in Final Fantasy XIV in Korea on December 8, 2020.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. If you’re interested in checking out the game, a Free Login Campaign is currently underway through November 23, 2020.
