In addition to the free download, those who participate in this exclusive offer will receive thirty days of free game time as well. Naturally, you will need a Square Enix account in order to access the service. So if you do not already have one, you will need to make one to log in and play Final Fantasy XIV. This offer only comes with A Realm Reborn, as stated earlier, so you will only have access to the content included in the base version of the game.

Additionally, you do not need PlayStation Plus to play Final Fantasy XIV. So the only thing you will be required to have after your 30-day free trial, is a subscription to the game.

A recent update to Final Fantasy XIV has re-introduced the Moogle Treasure Trove Hunt, which allows players to collect special currency to redeem rare items from an in-game vendor. This event is available for anyone to participate in, so even new players can grab these items.

Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers is available on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
