Final Fantasy XIII Home Items Almost Cost As Much As Final Fantasy XIII

Starting today, PlayStation Home residents can dress avatar like Lightning and decorate their virtual apartment with cactuar figures. A slew of Final Fantasy XIII themed items are now available in Japan’s PlayStation Home space.

Want a Snow costume? That’s 600 yen. Plush carbuncle? 200 yen, please. All of announced the Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation Home items cost a total of 4,950 yen or $55.50. That’s almost as much as a US copy of Final Fantasy XIII. The list only goes up to January 7, 2010 when Sazh’s costume goes live, which probably means there will be more items.

 

Final Fantasy fans on a budget can access Eden’s Government Official Observation Room, a personal PlayStation Home space for free from now until January 14. After that it’s 600 yen.
