The original Final Fantasy XII had an achievements system called Sky pirate’s Den and it will be making it into Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age in the next update, Square Enix announced during a recent live stream.
The Sky Pirate’s Den was basically a collection of achievements in the original Final Fantasy XII. By fulfilling certain conditions that were unknown until until they were actually fulfilled, players were able to collect sprites of characters, monsters, and more as part of the den.
While these achievements were replaced by trophies for the PS4 remaster, they’ll be making a return in Patch 1.04 that is expected to go live on November 22, 2017.
One more bonus that will be added tomorrow is a free PS4 theme called Eruyt Village, the home of the Viera. It’s a dynamic theme that plays music to go with it as well. The illustrations were newly made just for the theme.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is available on the PlayStation 4.
