Final Fantasy XI Easter Egg Hunt Returns This Month

Square Enix announced that the annual Easter event will return to Final Fantasy XI, bringing back the FFXI Egg Hunt. It kicks off on March 28, 2024.

The goal of the Egg Hunt is to collect initial eggs that have letters on them. You get these by talking to Moogles and trading items to them. You can then use those to create phrases. Some of these can involve getting ones that are all of the same letter or that start to spell your name. In return, you can earn the Egg Lantern, Egg Locker, Egg Stool, and Egg Table to display. Those can also be traded to a Mog House Moogle get a Egg Buffet, or an Egg Buffet can be traded for the four parts. 

Here’s where the Final Fantasy XI Egg Hunt Moogles will appear during the 2024 FFXI Easter event.

  • Bastok Markets: G-8
  • Bastok Mines: I-9
  • Northern San d’Oria: D-8
  • Southern San d’Oria: J-9
  • Windurst Waters: F-5
  • Windurst Woods: K-10

There will also be three stores with themed items available during the event. Here’s where you’ll find them:

  • Bastok Mines: H-9
  • Northern San d’Oria: D-8
  • Windurst Waters: G-10

Final Fantasy XI is available on PCs. The Egg Hunt event begins on March 28, 2024, and it will run until April 16, 2024. The last announced event for the game was the Doll Festival.
