Square Enix will release Final Fantasy VII Remake Original Soundtrack Plus on December 23, 2020. The soundtrack’s official webpage on Square Enix’s Japanese site also has an English version.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Original Soundtrack Plus will consist of four discs containing songs from in-game moments, such as cutscenes, that were not included in the previously released soundtrack. The first Final Fantasy VII Remake Original Soundtrack was released on May 27, 2020, and it already contained seven discs with over 150 tracks and 8 hours in total duration. As of this writing, a tracklist for the new Original Soundtrack Plus has yet to be published.
Although the exact prices in North America and Europe have not been announced yet, the Final Fantasy VII Remake Original Soundtrack Plus will be available for purchase and pre-order at the respective region’s Square Enix Online Store. In Japan, it will be sold at 3,800 yen plus tax. Purchasing the soundtrack early will come with a bonus Mini Memo Pad while supplies last.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 worldwide. Other than the original soundtrack, Square Enix also released an Orchestral Arrangement album and a Shinra CD, with the latter focusing on theme songs of characters from the Shinra Electric Power Company.
