The Final Fantasy VII Remake price has temporarily dropped! Sony sent out an alert on Twitter revealing what is the lowest PlayStation Store price so far for the RPG. Until August 19, 2020, it is 34% off. By checking in with the PSDeals price-tracking site, we can see this is its lowest sale price so far.
This is a worldwide PlayStation Store Final Fantasy VII Remake sale. This means the download costs $39.59 in the US storefront, £39.59 in the UK, €46,19 in other European storefronts, and ¥6,519 in Japan.
As for why it’s happening, it is all because of the PlayStation Store Summer Sale. On August 4, 2020, the PlayStation Blog confirmed more games would be added and Final Fantasy VII Remake would be among them.
If someone prefers a physical copy, it is possible to get that for a very similar price. At the moment, both Amazon and GameStop are also offering shoppers a Final Fantasy VII Remake price drop. A new physical copy costs $39.99 at either store. (Used copies are $37.99 at GameStop.)
Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for the PlayStation 4. Its exclusivity arrangement will be up in April 2021. The team at Square Enix is also currently working remotely on the second part of the game.
