Additionally, the statement goes on to mention the performance scheduled in Osaka, Japan. While the Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour concert in Osaka has not been canceled as of yet, Square Enix is currently carefully considering the situation and will make an announcement on the official website regarding the scheduled live performance.

Square Enix apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused and thanks consumers for their understanding on the matter. Refunds for purchased tickets are currently available, however they are strictly limited to the websites listed on the cancelation notice.

In April of 2020, the Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour performances for Japan were delayed. This was also due to a similar situation surrounding the ongoing pandemic. New tour dates were announced in November 2020, detailing when the next series of performances would be held in various regions. However, the planned concerts for Tokyo have now been canceled outright.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is immediately available for the PlayStation 4 worldwide.
