Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Not Loading [How To Fix]

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis gives mobile players a healthy dose of action-RPG goodness on the go. As is the case with a lot of games nowadays, however, there are a few bugs and errors you may need to navigate from time to time whenever you’re wanting to get stuck into the action. One error in particular that’s been plaguing players is where Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis just won’t load, no matter how long you sit there waiting for. Even worse, I’ve had it crop up when I’m sitting on the main menu. So close, yet so far! Here’s what you need to know in order to bypass the issue and get playing the game.

What to Do if Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis Isn’t Loading?

The fastest and easiest way to fix Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis not loading is to simply delete the app from your device and reinstall it. This is the solution that Square Enix itself has shared on the game’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account for players encountering the problem.

While the tweet itself notes that this was a problem originally only noticed on Android devices, it appears to have also cropped up on Apple devices, too, and the solution remains the same. Uninstall the game and reinstall it and you should be good to go.

If you end up having a similar issue with the PC version, a quick reinstall should be your first port of call when trying to fix the issue, too.

What to Do if Reinstalling Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Doesn’t Fix the Not Loading Error?

If that doesn’t work, make sure that you’ve got a fast and reliable internet connection on your device when you’re loading up the game. Try using your cellular data connection if you’re on Wi-Fi, or vice-versa and see if the issue continues.

Similarly, if you’re using a VPN, make sure that you disable this, close Ever Crisis and try loading it up again. Sometimes, VPNs can interfere with your connection to servers which can prevent you from accessing websites, games or other online applications.

If all else fails, then you’ll want to get in touch with customer support for the game, which Square Enix handily shared in the tweet above.
