There’s been all kinds of Final Fantasy concerts over the years for Symphonic Suites to rock concerts by The Black Mages, but there’s never been on dedicated entirely to Final Fantasy VII until now.

The Final Fantasy VII – A Symphonic Reunion is a brand-new concert dedicated exclusively to Final Fantasy VII. It’ll feature a symphonic orchestra and choir of over 100 musicians on stage with a giant HD video projection featuring a video program specially made for this event to showcase some of the best moments from the classic RPG’s story.

Grammy Award-winning artist Arnie Roth will conduct the concert. He’s well-known in the world of video game music for his work with Nobuo Uematsu and Square Enix as Music Director, Producer, and Conductor of Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy, Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy, and Voices: Music from Final Fantasy.

 

The concert set to take place on June 9, 2019 at 6:00pm PDT at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Pre-sale tickets will be available here starting April 20 from 12:00pm PDT. Prices for the tickets start at $77.77 USD.

 

Final Fantasy VII first released in Japan in January 1997. Since then it has been ported to PC, iOS, PlayStation 4, Android, and more recently on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One around the world. A remake of the game is currently in the works for PlayStation 4, directed by Tetsuya Nomura with newly announced co-director Naoki Hamaguchi.
