The next Final Fantasy PlayStation Now games are on the way. Back in September 2021, Square Enix and Sony announced the subscription service would be the new “home” for the series going forward. As part of that initiative, FFX | X-2 HD Remaster will join as part of the December 7, 2021 PlayStation Now update.
FFX | X-2 HD Remaster will be the fourth and fifth Final Fantasy games to join PlayStation Now. Things kicked off with FFVII in September 2021. Since then, FFVIII Remastered and FFIX also showed up on the service.
Here are all four games joining the subscription service in December 2021.
- FFX | X-2 HD Remaster
- Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition
- John Wick Hex
- Spitlings
Yes, the Final Fantasy games are now PlayStation Now bound. However, some are still rolling out on Xbox Game Pass. For example, FFXIII-2 just appeared there.
Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster are available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. FFX | X-2 HD Remaster will come to PlayStation Now on December 7, 2021. PS Now games can be played on the PS4, PS5, and PC. It costs $9.99 per month or $59.99 for a year.
