Final Fantasy Explorers Details Yuna, Tidus, Bartz, And The Machinist Job

Last week, Square Enix revealed the latest jobs for Final Fantasy Explorers, with the Red Mage and Machinist. The official website updates us with more information on the two jobs, along with a look at the latest Legend Characters.

 

Machinist: 

Machinists us guns as their main weapon and they’re long-ranged damage-dealers. While their attacks are considered physical, they can do additional status ailments along with abilities that buff themselves up.

They have all kinds of abilities that let them rapidly shoot down enemies or even drop heavy artillery-like attacks on unsuspecting enemies.

 

Red Mage:

The Red Mage has been around for quite a while in the Final Fantasy series, and in Final Fantasy Explorers, they’ll retain their characteristic trait of being a jack-of-all-trades with swordsmanship and magic.

They’ll also have their Chainspell ability, that allows for rapid spellcasting, which will help out in the magic damage-dealing department. They also have a special characteristic that makes their power increase the more they use up their AP.

 

Next, here’s a look at some of the latest Legend Characters:

 

Yuna (Final Fantasy X-2):

In Final Fantasy Explorers, Yuna will use a special attack called Great Whirl, which was normally a part of her abilities with the Floral Fallal Dressphere in Final Fantasy X-2. She’ll also pull off attacks some non-elemental attacks as well.

 

Tidus (Final Fantasy X):

The Blitz Ace was Tidus’ strongest Overdrive from the Swordplay command in Final Fantasy X. In Final Fantasy Explorers, he’ll have access to it as part of a Crystal Drive attack.

 

Bartz (Final Fantasy V):

Once the Crystal Drive activates, Bartz equips the Brave Blade and Chicken Knife to rush down enemies as part of his Spellblade Rapid Fire ability.

 

Final Fantasy Explorers will release in Japan on December 18, 2014 for Nintendo 3DS.
