Square Enix recently shared the latest trailer for Final Fantasy Explorers, which featured some of the jobs, Legend Character transformations, and Summoned Beasts. The official website updates us with a new job, a look at Terra from Final Fantasy VI, and more.
Geomancer:
The Geomancer job has appeared throughout the Final Fantasy series as a class that uses bells as weapons, along with the power of terrain as a weapon. In Final Fantasy Explorers, Geomancers will use an ability called “Rune Strike” that increases their magic power after each hit. However, it seems like this have a long cool-down period, so there are limits to using it.
Here’s a look at one of the fan-favorite characters from Final Fantasy VI, Terra Branford, who is one of the transformations in the game:
Just like all the other “Legends Characters” of Final Fantasy Explorers, players will get to transform into Terra when the right conditions are met. More characters from the Final Fantasy series are expected to be revealed over time.
The website also shares a look at a feature called “Crystal Drive”. While not much is currently known about it at the moment, the above images shows Crystal Drive attacks that are borrowing powers from Ramuh and Shiva to deal a massive ranged attack.
The above is a look at the area where Bahamut dwells, called Jamenile Mountains. The monsters here are all powerful, so it’s recommended to be well-geared before taking it on.
Final Fantasy Explorers is slated for release on December 18, 2014 in Japan for Nintendo 3DS.
