The Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will release this August in both North America and Europe. This news arrived shortly after the announcement of the Japanese release date for the remaster. Fans can expect to get their hands on this cross-play and cross-save title on August 27, 2020 everywhere, and it will include some new and exciting features.
Along with the announcement of a simultaneous release in every region, the official PlayStation blog revealed some new details about additions to the game. Two of the new features for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be improved visual and audio. This applies to character voice overs as well. Online multiplayer will be available, along with cross-play. You won’t need to worry about what system your friends will be purchasing the game on, since it will support cross-play between the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and even Android and Apple iOS.
Another new feature is the inclusion of new dungeons. This updated version will include never before seen dungeons for both veterans and new players to experience.
And players will also have another reason to collect those elusive stamps found in Moogle Houses. By collecting stamps you can alter the appearance of your character to look like NPCs you’ve met on your adventure.
All of these new features, and the cross-play and cross-save features are sure to satisfy old fans and newcomers alike.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and both Android and Apple iOS devices in Japan and North America on August 27, 2020.
