Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition will have voice acting. This is one of the many new additions that will be accompanying the release of Remastered Edition. In a YouTube video posted by Famitsu, the Japanese gaming news outlet showed off a few moments of game play that were interspersed with character and NPC dialogue. Most of which was fully voiced. The voice tracks in the video are only in Japanese, however. There is no mention in the article if there will be dual audio between releases. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Non-player characters like Sol Racht have received fully-voiced lines, whereas non-player characters like the player’s parents instead make small sounds of acknowledgment when talking to them. Your own character now also calls out spells when cast. When playing with a party all characters casting spells with shout out spells in unison when properly fusing magick. And of course, Stiltzkin, a reoccurring moogle throughout the Final Fantasy series, has received his own voice track as well. Voice acting isn’t the only added feature to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition. Additionally, new and more challenging boss fights and dungeons have been added. Remastered Edition will also have a free demo that will release the same day as the game, this free demo will allow players to accompany their friends that have purchased the game through their entire journey.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and both Android and Apple iOS devices in Japan and North America on August 27, 2020.
