Fields of Mistria Patch Adds Pronoun Options, Hair Colors

NPC Studio announced that the 0.11.6 patch for Fields of Mistria is now live and, while major additions are still down the road, this one adds pronouns, new hair color options, more eye color options, and new recipes. The update also added three quality of life changes and fixed a number of bugs as well.

When it comes to selecting pronoun options in Fields of Mistria, there will be five more to choose from after the update. These are he/she, she/he, they/he, they/she, and it/its. The announcement also noted this was added as a result of a request from the community. 

Likewise, the new hair colors were also mentioned as a player-requested addition to Fields of Mistria. However, the new eye colors implemented are not. While NPC studio didn’t share a screenshot of the new eye colors in Fields of Mistria, it did show all of the hair colors applied to the Wavy Long Fringe style.

Here are the full 0.11.6 patch notes for Fields of Mistria from the official site, and they begin with the pronoun options and hair colors before moving on to other additions. 

[Highlights]

• He/She, She/He, They/He, They/She, and It/Its pronoun options have been added.
• Additional hair colors have been added, including white and pastel color options.
• Players can now hold-click to quickly add multiple items (such as seeds) to the cart in shopping menus.
• Players can now hold-click to quickly increase or decrease the number of items to craft in crafting menus.

[New Features]

• Additional eye colors have been added.
• The following recipes can now be obtained: Quiche, Vegetable Quiche, Pan-Fried Bream, Rosemary Garlic Noodles, Chocolate Cake, Pomegranate Juice, Iced Coffee, and Jasmine Tea.
• Mild Spoiler: The Mines Wooden Arch decor item and recipe can now be found in the Upper Mines treasure chests (if the perk Reclaimer has been acquired).

[Updates]

QOL

• A Robes and Coats subcategory has been added to the Tops/Body Character Customization UI section.
• Color swatches have been added to the eye color selection in the Character Customization UI.
• Mild Spoilers: The Capybara Leaf and Bowler Hat cosmetics are now only available at the Chicken Statue (Prev. available at Hayden’s Shop).
• Various typo and line fixes.

Art

• Various armor boot cosmetic animations have been updated.

[Bug Fixes]

Gameplay

• Unclaimed Renown Rewards no longer carry over to other save files.
• When the perk “A Day Well Spent” is activated, restoring stamina via stamina orbs no longer undoes the stamina bonus from the perk.

 QOL

• Play time now displays correctly on the Load Game screen.
• Tesserae coin items can no longer end up in a player’s inventory. Note: Any existing coin items will be removed from the player’s inventory and storage.

NPCs

• Elsie and Landen no longer have a conversation while in separate rooms.

Crash Fixes

• A mismatch in an NPC’s database position and actual position no longer crashes the game.
• A sound effects related crash has been fixed. 

Fields of Mistria is available for the PC via Steam early access.
