Fields of Mistria Early Access Roadmap Major Update Involves Romance

The new romance update for Fields of Mistria won’t add marriage to the game just yet, but it will allow you to get closer to the bachelors and bachelorettes. There will be a six-heart event for all characters available. This also means that the current cap on affection levels, which is four hearts, will be increased by two. Other NPCs will also have more to say once that patch arrives.

The rest of the adjustments involved additional level caps going up and other new features. The town’s renown level cap will go up by 20, which means more requests and rewards tied to it. Your skill caps will also go from 30 to 45.

The other additions in the Q4 2024 first major Fields of Mistria update involve additional content for the game. You’ll be able to upgrade and decorate your home more. Your avatars and animals will get new accessories and outfits too. A second festival will be held in town. More enemies will be around, which means new drops from them. Also, more skill perks will show up.

Here’s the official Fields of Mistria roadmap as of August 2024, and it confirms that additional romance related additions include 8 and 10-heart events and relationship caps, as well as opportunities to marry and raise a family with the bachelors and bachelorettes.
