FFXIV Starlight Celebration 2022 Adds Starlight Steed Mount

The Starlight Celebration, a yearly holiday event, will return to FFXIV on December 15, 2022. Each year, people can take part to get special items. This one will be no exception. Square Enix already opened the event page for it. It also confirmed that the Starlight Steed mount will be one of the featured items this year in FFXIV.

As is usual for the event, players will need to go through activities to earn two rewards. To kick off the Starlight Celebration 2022 activities in FFXIV, you need to meet with Amh Garanjy. You’ll find them in Old Gridania. (You can head to X:10.2, Y:9.4 to meet.) If you are at least level 15, you can kick things off.

There are two rewards for participating. One is the FFXIV Starlight Steed mount. Using the Starlight Steed Horn summons it to your side. The other is the Illuminated Tree. This is a furniture item you can place outside. Past Starlight Celebration items will be in the Seasonal Shop. As a reminder, in 2021 the two items were the Squirrel Emperor and Wind-up Rudy.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Patch 6.3 will appear in January 2023. The FFXIV Starlight Celebration will run December 15-31, 2022.
