The FFXIV Shadowbringers Original Soundtrack first dropped in Japan in September 2019. As usual, Masayoshi Soken and people like Nobuo Uematsu, Kenji Ito, and Hiroshi Sakimoto composed its tracks. All of the songs from it appeared in the expansion and patches 4.4 Prelude in Violet and 4.5 A Requiem for Heroes. In total, the soundtrack offers over five hours of music from the MMORPG.

Previously, Soken spoke about creating the music for this expansion. He covered the compositions in an episode of “The Creation of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers.

This is one of many options for Final Fantasy XIV music on Spotify. Back in June 2020, for example, Square Enix added a number of official playlists including different tracks from the game. The Epic Encounters and Soothing Sanctuary ones took songs from the base game and expansions and grouped them by atmosphere and ambiance.

Final Fantasy XIV and its Shadowbringers expansion are available for the PS4, PS5, and PC now, and its soundtrack is available physically or via Spotify. If people bought a physical copy, it included a Wind-up Suzaku minion.
